     Right out of high school, Robert Ridlon, (founder of Git Er Done), began working in construction trades with a local general contractor from his church. He quickly fell in love with the industry, and put in many hours to learn everything from plumbing and electrical, to flooring and trim. His time was cut short, however, when his family moved to Wylie, Texas in July of 2021. After moving, he found a position in Rockwall, Texas where he would be a project supervisor for a home remodeling company. 

     After working for that company for about 4 months, Robert began seeing issues not just with the company he was with, but with the industry as a whole. Corners were cut, scheduling was always a mess, and quality materials were not used, even in the higher-end homes. This did not sit well with him, and so in September of 2021, Robert began planning the launch of Git Er Done Home Remodeling. After all the paperwork had been filed, insurance paid for, and initial capital raised; Robert resigned from his position and went full-time into Git Er Done Home Remodeling in November of 2021. 

     Since its start-up, Git Er Done Home Remodeling has grown to be a trusted name in households for quality home renovations. In its first year, Git Er Done was able to serve over 3 dozen homeowners with different renovation projects including kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, flooring installations, handyman work, investment properties, and many more! In addition to helping homeowners, Git Er Done has also had the blessing of being able to serve the community in many different ways through the Chamber of Commerce. Git Er Done sponsored the Wylie Chamber of Commerce Cornhole Tournament, the Wylie Chamber of Commerce Championship Rodeo Tournament, the Rockwall/Heath/Royse City High School Football Calendar, and the Wylie Acting Group. Robert currently sits as an ambassador for the Wylie Chamber of Commerce for different events and community involvement. 

     But, what is the purpose of Git Er Done Home Remodeling? Ultimately, Git Er Done Home Remodeling exists for two reasons; to serve God, and to serve people. We believe that without God's blessing, we would not be where we are today. And as long as continue to trust Him and glorify Him, He will continue to bless us in many different ways. Moreover, it is the people who act as a driving force for our company. Whether it is through our top-tier employees, our incredible subcontractors, vendors, community circles, agents, and of course, our wonderful clients. It is these interactions that strengthen our character, and  warms our hearts to know that people have been positively affected by our existence. This is our core purpose, and always will be.
